Hunger Pains is the latest full length release from underground heavyweight Bekay. Over the past few years, Bekay has created a loyal, cult-like following in the underground hip-hop community by relentlessly recording, performing and grinding. Hunger Pains is a project that took several years to complete and enlists several noteworthy guest appearances and producers. From hit maker J.R. Grayskul, a group from Seattle and Maker (producer from Aurora, Illinois). Both are part of groups/projects that I REALLY enjoy.

From last.FM. Maker: The hardest working producer in the broke as hell underground rap game. Representing Aurora, IL with his crew Them Badd Apples he’s been making music since 1996 and has become a staple in the Chicago hip-hop scene.

He spent most of 2004 as tour DJ for various galapagos4 artists and playing the role of producer once again to complete the album The Harvest with Chicago native Qwel (Typical Cats). The album has achieved amazing acclaim in the states and abroad, proving how versatile of a producer Maker truly is.

His highly anticipated instrumental album Shooting the Breeze is out now on Galapagos4 records.

Maker is currently also part of three-person hip-hop group Glue.

From Last.FM. Grayskul:In 2003 Onry Ozzborn and JFK, both members of the Pacific Northwest hip hop collective Oldominion, teamed up with bassist Rob Castro to form Grayskul. They recorded about 55 songs in eight months at ATB Studios; these would eventually became Creature, Thee Adventures! and Deadlivers^[1]. They toured extensively on the West Coast and nationwide both independently and as a group; often with fellow Oldominion crew members such as Sleep, Bishop I, Azrael and Barfly ^{[disambiguation needed]}^[1]. After opening for Eyedea & Abilities during their 2004 E&A tour, their music was brought to the attention of Rhymesayers Entertainment head Siddiq by their manager, Wordsayer of Jasiri Media, and Grayskul was signed almost immediately by the major underground label.[1]
